The Fly Trap Medium is an eco-friendly, poison-free fly trap for outdoor use – affordable, effective and easy to use. It contains a food-based attractant that reliably lures flies, and works entirely without pesticides or other chemicals. This also makes it suitable for businesses that value organic compatibility.
What makes the Fly Trap Medium stand out
- Poison-free & pesticide-free: no insecticides or chemicals – also suitable for organic and food businesses.
- Built-in attractant: the food-based attractant is already included – just add water and hang it up.
- Effective & affordable: catches large numbers of flies with minimal effort.
- Environmentally friendly: an eco-friendly solution for gardens, farmyards, stables and outdoor areas.
How to use
Open the bag, fill it with water as instructed so the attractant dissolves, and hang the trap in an outdoor area prone to flies. Best placed in the sun – the attractant becomes effective after around 4-5 hours and reaches maximum effectiveness after 3-4 days. Replace the trap once it is full.
Good to know
- High catch rate: one trap catches up to 20,000 flies.
- Long-lasting: active for approximately 60-90 days – significantly longer than many 30-day traps.
- Lures flies away from your area: hang the trap a few metres away from the terrace, doorway or seating area, so flies are drawn there instead of to you.
- Hygienic & disposable: simply seal the full trap and dispose of it whole – no contact with dead flies, no cleaning required.
- Note: the trap catches flies using the food-based attractant – biting stable flies/horseflies are not caught by this trap.
