Mastercid MicroPYR Insecticide-Acaricide Concentrate, Microencapsulated, 1 L

Mastercid MicroPYR is a concentrated, microencapsulated water-based insecticide-acaricide from OR.MA. The three active ingredients, synergised by piperonyl butoxide, give the product both a strong immediate effect (through the pyrethrum) and high residual action (through the cypermethrin). The microencapsulation further enhances this long-term effect: the active ingredients are enclosed in microcapsules and released slowly. This way, Mastercid MicroPYR eliminates existing insects and prevents re-infestation for at least 2–3 weeks.

Use & Dosage

Mastercid MicroPYR is diluted in water and applied using pressure pumps (manual or electric), sprayers or foggers – approximately 1 litre of use solution per 10–15 m² of area. Shake well before use.

• Flying insects: 5–10 ml per litre of water (0.5–1%); the higher dose against flies.
• Crawling insects & mites: 0.5–1% (50–100 ml per 10 litres of water) depending on infestation level; the higher dose against cockroaches and on absorbent surfaces.
• Cold/warm fogging: 3–5% in glycol-based solvent (300–500 ml per 10 litres of solvent).

The recommended dosages must be observed and not exceeded. In livestock facilities, remove animals before treatment and ventilate the rooms before bringing them back. Use with specialised equipment (e.g. fogging cannons) is reserved exclusively for professional users.

Versatile in use

Mastercid MicroPYR is suitable for pest control in civil, industrial and public areas as well as in livestock farming: residential buildings, schools and kindergartens, sports halls, theatres and cinemas, waiting areas at stations and airports, holiday resorts, food businesses, campsites, canteens, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, care and nursing homes, warehouses and food depots, stables, livestock and animal shelters, as well as industrial environments. On green areas, use for mosquito control is recommended.

Target organisms

Flying insects such as mosquitoes, tiger mosquitoes, flies and moths; crawling insects such as cockroaches, ants and stored product pests; as well as ticks and the red poultry mite (Dermanyssus gallinae).
